Students: it’s possible that Mrs. Sparhawk took grades on the D.O.L. (grammar assignment) today. Please ask her if she did. If so, it’s now possible to download a D.O.L. makeup sheet right here on Clipboards. Just click on the “Assignments” button at the top and download one of the D.O.L. makeup assignments. (Or you can just get one from the makeup work center at school.)

Parents: Students need to bring home their vocabulary lists this week and study for the upcoming vocabulary test, which will be given on Friday, January 13, 2012.

Tonight’s homework includes practicing our speeches, if you haven’t given yours yet. Officially, speeches began today, but only a few students gave their speeches today. Most students still have more time to practice and prepare for their speech. The tough part will be memorizing it. Parents can do a lot to help kids prepare with speech-practice time at home.
