Folklore Journal Lesson Plans

Students: it’s possible that Mrs. Sparhawk took grades on the D.O.L. (grammar assignment) today. Please ask her if she did. If so, it’s now possible to download a D.O.L. make-up sheet right here on Clipboards. Just click on the “Assignments” button at the top and download one of the D.O.L. make-up assignments. (Or you can just get one from the make-up work center at school.)

Parents: we created our own vocabulary lists this week, using the Word Cluster Graphic Organizer. Please watch for that. Students need to bring it home with them to study for the upcoming vocabulary test, which will be given on Friday, March 23, 2012.

Students: Today was the last day of our folklore reading schedule. You may need to set an appointment to come in at lunch to do any reading that you missed. Once you’ve read the story you missed, then you can finish filling out your folklore journal for that story. Next week we’ll use the notes in these journals to begin writing our essays.

Remember, this Friday, March 16, is the last day to turn in make-up work or extra credit for 3rd quarter!
