Students: it’s possible that Mrs. Sparhawk took grades on the D.O.L. (grammar assignment) today. Please ask her if she did. If so, it’s now possible to download a D.O.L. make-up sheet right here on Clipboards. Just click on the “Assignments” button at the top and download one of the D.O.L. make-up assignments. (Or you can just get one from the make-up work center at school.)

We copied our assignments into our agendas today. You need to do the same thing.

We finished writing the first draft of our folklore essays on Friday, but some students worked on that today (esp. if they were at ISATs last Friday). If you were absent and need time to make this up, set an appointment to come in at lunch or after school to get your work done. We’ll begin editing our first drafts this week. You must have a completed first draft to participate in editing.

Parents:  Are you aware that students have been assigned a “classic novel” to read for extra credit? Click this link (or the Shakespeare icon in the sidebar) to take you to the page where extra credit can be turned in electronically.
