alternative forms of testing vocabulary words and definitions

Students: it’s possible that Mrs. Sparhawk took grades on the D.O.L. (grammar assignment) today. Please ask her if she did. If so, it’s now possible to download a D.O.L. makeup sheet right here on Clipboards. Just click on the “Assignments” button at the top and download one of the D.O.L. makeup assignments. (Or you can just get one from the makeup work center at school.)

Parents: Mrs. Sparhawk gave a spelling/vocabulary test today over Writing Vocabulary List 3: Transition Words. If you were absent for this spelling/vocabulary test, set an official appointment to come in at lunch and make up the test please.

We also turned in our folklore essays today. Here’s the staple order:

  • On top: six traits form (found in the Thursday box in our classroom)
  • Next: the final draft of your folklore essay
  • Next: the first draft of your essay
  • Bottom: your outline (the one you created, not the sample outline)

Please staple your papers together in this order and turn them in to Mrs. Sparhawk directly. Remember, don’t put make-up work on her desk, or it may get lost in all the papers! Put it directly into her HAND. Thank you!
