It’s possible that Mrs. Webmaster took grades (i.e. wrote scores in her grade book) for the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to go to a box in the make-up work center that says “extra D.O.L.” and get a worksheet from this box. You can take this home and do it as homework, but don’t forget to turn it in when you return to school tomorrow. If you’re reading this at home, you can download and print a D.O.L. from the Assignments page.

We also wrote our assignments in our agendas today. Please copy yours into your agenda as well.

We were given a new vocabulary list today. It’s a list of patriotic words, in preparation for our “Patriot’s Pen” essays. Extra copies are in the Monday box, in the make-up work center.

You can find the definitions for these words right here on ClipBoards, on the Vocabulary page. Please copy these definitions onto your vocabulary sheet. We’ll copy five at a time (five Monday, five Tuesday, and five Thursday) during class, but it’s okay to copy all of them from this website, if you like. That way you can spend time studying for the upcoming vocabulary test, while your classmates copy their definitions.

The vocabulary test over these words will be given on Friday, October 5, 2012.
