It’s possible that Mrs. Webmaster took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to go to a box in the make-up work center that says “extra D.O.L.” and get a worksheet from this box. You can take this home and do it as homework, but don’t forget to turn it in when you return to school tomorrow. If you’re reading this at home, you can download and print a D.O.L. from the Assignments page, as long as you haven’t already done those D.O.L. sentences.

We turned in the “Patriot’s Pen” essays today. You need to go to the Friday box in the makeup work center and find a half sheet of paper with a little chart in the middle of it. Fill out your name and the title of your essay on this form. Then staple it to the top of all of these papers:

  • On the bottom: your flowchart
  • Next: Your edited first draft
  • Next: Your typed final draft.

Seperately, staple a second copy of your typed final draft to the VFW entry form.

Remember to put all of these documents in Mrs. Webmaster’s hands. Never leave them sitting on her desk! Her HAND is her in-box!

We also took a spelling test today, over the Poetry Vocabulary List. Set an official appointment to come in at lunch or after school if you need to make this up.
