Students: it’s possible that Mrs. Webmaster took grades on the D.O.L. (grammar assignment) today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you can download a D.O.L. makeup sheet right here on ClipBoards. Just click on the “Assignments” button at the top and download one of the D.O.L. makeup assignments. (Or you can get one from the makeup work center at school.)

Parents: Our next vocabulary test will be given on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. Also, Friday is the last day to turn in make-up work and/or extra credit.

Students: We copied this week’s vocabulary definitions onto our new vocabulary sheet. Click here to see the definitions you missed.

Some classes may have turned in their VFW essays today. (Especially if they ran out of time on Friday or Monday.)

You need to go to the Friday box in the makeup work center and find a half sheet of paper with a little chart in the middle of it. Fill out your name and the title of your essay on this form. Then staple it to the top of all of these papers:

  • On the bottom: your flowchart
  • Next: your edited first draft
  • Next: your typed final draft.
  • On top: the half-sheet-of-paper form that you found in the Friday box

Seperately, staple a second copy of your typed final draft to the VFW entry form.

Remember to put all of these documents in Mrs. Webmaster’s hands. Never leave them sitting on her desk! Her HAND is her in-box!
