Hardy Boys Mystery Book Report Form

Today’s word card was buccaneer. On your Vocabulary Word Cards worksheet, you’ll need to fill out the syllable breaks, definition, part of speech (i.e. noun, verb, adjective, etc.) and sentence portion of your word card, but you are welcome to copy today’s drawing from one of your classmates’ word card worksheets.

We went to the library today to check out a mystery book. Do you need one? If so, please ask Mrs. Webmaster for a hall pass so you can go to the library. Then come right back to class. Make sure the book you’ve chosen is a Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, or Agatha Christie novel. (Mrs. Smalley may be able to help you, if you don’t know where to look.)

We earned a reading sticker today. To earn the reading sticker that you missed, just read a library book at home for 30 minutes tonight and have your parent sign your agenda saying that you did so. Then show your agenda to Mrs. Webmaster, and she’ll give you the reading participation sticker that you missed. Thanks!

You should ask Mrs. Webmaster if we turned in our sticker sheets, reading logs, or word cards today.
