fun ideas for library book recommendations

Any time you’ve been gone, you need to ask Mrs. Webmaster if she took grades on the D.O.L. assignments. If so, go get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from the make-up work center, take it home, follow the directions, and turn it in. Remember that Mrs. Webmaster’s hand is her in-box; NEVER leave make-up work on her desk.

Monday, March 11: Please take the time to write assignments in your agenda. Anyone who hasn’t given his/her speech yet, needs to do so, as this is your final exam grade for 3rd quarter. Please TELL your teacher that you still need to give your speech!

Tuesday, March 12: Today we went to a university campus on a field trip. There’s no make-up work necessary for this day, but I’m sure you missed a fun trip… Bummer for you!

Wednesday, March 13:  Today we went over our speech journals in class. Turn yours in to your teacher for points. Be sure and put your NAME on it before turning it in!

Thursday, March 14:  Everyone was given their graded speeches back today. We recorded our six traits scores in our writing logs. You can ask your teacher to give you back your graded speech, but please take the time to record your scores on the writing log (and your GOAL too)!

Friday, March 15:  Today we used iPads (with dictionary.com) to define ISAT vocabulary words and use them in sentences. If you didn’t get a handout of the ISAT vocabulary words, you can find them in the Friday box. You’ll need to take yours home and define the first ten words on the vocabulary list and use these words in a sentence. You may use dictionary.com to do so.
