It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

We were given a new vocabulary list last Monday.  As always, the definitions are found under “Vocabulary Lists” in the top menu. The spelling test over this list will be given on Friday, Sept. 20. Don’t wait until the last minute to start studying!

Today was a VERY important day, because we finished writing our VFW essays. If you haven’t finished your essay, please come in at lunch or after school to work on it.

Today we did some peer editing. It’s important that your first draft be thoroughly edited before we begin revising. That means you need to have at least ten proofreading symbols on your essay’s first draft. If you do not have at least ten proofreading symbols on your first draft by Tuesday, September 24, please set an official appointment to come in at lunch or after school to have your teacher edit your essay for you.
