It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

We were given a new vocabulary list today.  Extra copies of this vocabulary list are found in the Monday box.  As always, the definitions are found under “Vocabulary Lists” in the top menu. The spelling test over this list will be given on Friday, October 18. Don’t wait until the last minute to start studying!

Today we copied our assignments into our agendas for the week. You need to do this too.

We were given a handout that helps us review the steps in the writing process today. Extra copies are in the Tuesday box (because our spelling list is in the Monday box). Please follow the directions on the writing process review sheet. If you need a little help, just look at the “Writing Process” posters in our classroom. That will help a lot.

We also started scoring our letters to parents. If you were gone for this important grade, please set an appointment to come in at lunch and make up the missed scoring lesson. You’ll need a score for your letter just like all of your classmates.
