It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

We were given a new vocabulary list today. As always, the definitions are found under “Vocabulary Lists” in the top menu. The spelling test over this list will be given on Friday, November 22. Don’t wait until the last minute to start studying!

Since November 11th is Veteran’s Day, everyone was given a writing assignment today: write a semi-block letter to a soldier. If you’d like to see the details of this assignment, you can access it from the “Assignments” page in the top menu.

We also turned in our letters to soldiers today. If you haven’t turned yours in yet, please do so immediately. This is a graded assignment. The six traits forms are found in the make-up work center. You need to turn in your web or flowchart, edited first draft, and final draft.
