Monday, Dec. 16

It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

Because we’re so close to the holiday vacation, there will be no spelling/vocabulary list this week.

Today we copied our assignments into our agendas. If you were gone today, please take the time to copy this week’s assignments into your agenda as well.

Because we’re so close to the holiday vacation, there will be no spelling/vocabulary list this week.

We spent time revising our mystery stories today. If you were absent for this, please consider coming in at lunch or after school (by appointment) to finish revising your story (as needed).

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Write a paragraph comparing and contrasting the similarities and differences between revising a D.O.L. assignment and revising your own mystery story.

  • Double-space your paragraph.
  • Use complete sentences.
  • Practice good penmanship.
  • Include a topic sentence, discussion sentences, and a conclusion sentence.

Be sure to turn this paragraph in to your teacher before it’s too late! The Friday after Christmas break will be the last day to turn in make-up work assignments.
