Monday, Jan. 6

It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

We were given a grade for our mystery stories today. You need to highlight all of the vocabulary words that you put in your story (provision, vacantly, odor, etc. OR answered, questioned, replied, etc.) with a highlighter pen. Only highlight each of the words once.

Staple a six traits form to the top of your entire mystery story (flow chart, first draft, final) and turn it in to Mrs. Fogelsong at the end of the hour today. Be sure and TELL her you still need a grade for yours. (She won’t know this unless you tell her!) Six traits forms are found in the Monday box.

Today we copied our assignments into our agendas. If you were gone today, please take the time to copy this week’s assignments into your agenda as well.

We spent time scoring our mystery stories today. If you were absent for this, please consider coming in at lunch or after school (by appointment) to finish scoring your story (as needed).
