Today we met in the computer lab to work on our Google Drive presentations which will accompany our research papers. If you would like to work on your Google Drive presentation at home, please go to Google Drive and click on the “Create” button (it’s red).  Choose “Presentation” and begin typing key words and quotations from your essay. You should only use, at most, seven pages for your presentation. You’re welcome to use graphics that are school-appropriate and relevant to your research topic.

Students who didn’t finish during class today are welcome to finish their presentation after Friday’s spelling test, during Thursday/Friday volunteer study halls, or at lunch (by appointment). You may also work on your presentation at home, if you family has access to the Internet.

It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

Today we finished editing and started to revise our research papers. If you’ve been absent and need time to catch up on the writing of your research paper, please set an official appointment to come in at lunch and/or sign up for Advisory study hall and/or plan to stay after school on Friday night to work on getting caught up.
