It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

If you were gone today, you need to copy your assignments in your agenda. If you are at home right now, use this schedule, right here on clipboards, like you would the “Agenda Guide” in the classroom, and simply copy each day’s activities into your agenda.

We were given a new vocabulary list last Monday.  The definitions are found on the “Vocabulary” page, right here on ClipBoards, but you must also add five words that come from your poems. These need to be challenging words! If you don’t have any challenging words in your poems, please use a thesaurus to improve your word choice. Today we worked to finish these five vocabulary words and their definitions.

Students also created an ode today. The ode will be graded on Thursday, May 1st. Do you need help with your poems? Take a look at the “Assignments” page in the top menu of this this page. You’ll find some helpful tips there.

Today we were tested over the latest spelling/vocabulary list, which includes the five vocabulary words we chose from our poems. Please set an official appointment to come in at lunch and make up this important test grade.

We went on a field trip today. There’s no make-up work needed for this class, but you might want to check with your science teacher about missing this educational field trip.
