It’s possible that your teacher took grades on the D.O.L. today. Please ask her if she did. If so, you need to get a D.O.L. make-up sheet from your teacher.

If you were gone today, you need to copy your assignments in your agenda. If you are at home right now, use this schedule, right here on clipboards, like you would the “Agenda Guide” in the classroom, and simply copy each day’s activities into your agenda.

There will be no more spelling/vocabulary tests for the remainder of the school year.

Most students have been given their poetry notebooks by now, and we’re working to complete them. Do you need help with your poems? Take a look at the “Assignments” page in the top menu. You’ll find some helpful tips there.

Any students who are done with their poetry notebooks will be writing letters to celebrities. If you need the assignment sheet for this, it’s in the Wednesday box.

All poetry notebooks were collected today, whether students were done or not. Go get a six traits form from one of the bottom boxes in the make-up work center. Fill out your name, title, and the following on your six traits form:

  • Illustrations
  • Poems
  • Table of Contents

(Those three areas are worth points for scoring.)

Today was also the last day to turn in make-up work.
