DAILY CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES:

Monday, Dec. 8: Today we went to the computer lab, to finish filling out our Rhetorical Question Graphic Organizer. We will be required to use three quotes from Othello and at least two additional quotes from research associated with Shakespeare’s Othello, for our upcoming essay. We’ll need to use parenthetical citation for the quotes from Othello and a Works Cited page for any additional research you do outside the book.

Tuesday, Dec. 9: Today we spent class time creating an outline for Shakespeare’s Othello. To find a sample outline that you can download and use at home, just go to the “Assignments” page  on this website. Scroll down to the bottom to find the assignments for Sophomores.

Wednesday, Dec. 10: Today we used the outlines we had created yesterday to help us write our essays on Othello. Remember to use quotations from the book (and your additional research) in every paragraph, but surround each quotation with thoughts of your own. This will help you earn more points for correctly quoting your sources.

Thursday, Dec. 11: While at the library today, we finished writing our essays on Othello. Remember to use quotations from the book (and your additional research) in every paragraph, but surround each quotation with thoughts of your own. This will help you earn more points for correctly quoting your sources.
