Tuesday, Jan. 6: Look on page 18 of  the English Handbook Pages and copy the definitions for there, their, and they’re.

Wednesday, Jan. 7: Please define the following vocabulary words:

  • hypocrisy
  • strumpet
  • beguile

Thursday, Jan. 8: Please define the following vocabulary words:

  • insinuate
  • mettle
  • harlot

DAILY CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES: 

Monday, Jan. 5: Today we went to the computer lab to type our essay’s on Shakespeare’s play, Othello. If you need more time to type, there will be opportunities on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday, Jan. 6: Today we went to the computer lab to type our essay’s on Shakespeare’s play, Othello. If you need more time to type, there will be an opportunity on Thursday.

Wednesday, Jan. 7: Today we continued reading Shakespeare’s Othello. Everyone needs time to practice reading aloud for points. If you still need read-aloud points, please ask for a part to read, when we’re reading out loud next week.

Thursday, Jan. 8: Today we turned in our Othello essays. Please turn in the following items with your essay:

  • The rhetorical question graphic organizer
  • The outline
  • The edited first draft
  • The final draft
  • A six traits form (a half-sheet of paper, found in the make-up work center)
