Monday, Feb. 16: No school (Presidents’ Day)

Tuesday, Feb. 17: If you were going to produce a movie version of Othello, would you have the actors speak in modern language, or would you stick to the original text? Explain your answer please.

Wednesday, Feb. 18: Now that you’ve started to watch the movie, Othello, what aspects of the setting and props (costumes, furniture, lighting, and other aspects of the scenery) surprised you? Do you think the directors of the film got it right or wrong? Offer explanations for why you think so or think not.

Thursday, Feb. 19: Now that you’ve seen Iago in the film version of Othello, do you understand why everyone thought he was honest? Justify your answer to this question with examples from the film.
