Gothic ChurchDAILY JOURNAL ASSIGNMENTS: 

Monday, May 11: List, with bullets, the literature we read from the pre-Columbian era. Brainstorm with your neighbors if you’re having trouble remembering these titles.

Tuesday, May 12: List, with bullets, all the literature that demonstrated the Age of Reason/Age of Enlightenment philosophy. It’s okay to ask a neighbor to help you come up with these titles.

Wednesday, May 13: List, with bullets, the titles of all literary works read for this class, that had Gothic literary elements. Brainstorm with your neighbors if you’re having trouble remembering these titles.

Thursday, May 14: When reading a work of classic literature, how can you tell the period in which it was written? What are some of the clues you can find in the writing itself? (Answer in three to five sentences please.)

Monday, May 11 through Thursday, May 14: We will be taking our final exam during this week. If you finish early, please bring a library book to read.
