t chartDAILY JOURNAL ASSIGNMENTS:

Monday, Sept. 7: No School, Labor Day

Tuesday, Sept. 8: Today we filled out the T-chart handout shown at the right of this blog post. If you click on that T-chart, you can print one from home to fill out and bring to school completed. If not, just go to the make-up work center and look in box 2 for a copy of it. Take it home, fill it out, and return to school with it done. Let your teacher know you still need credit for that journal.

Wednesday, Sept. 9: Journal questions included the following: What do you already know about colleges? What do you think you know about colleges, but you’re not 100% sure? Now write three questions you still have about colleges.

Thursday, Sept. 10: Journal questions included the following: What do you already know about careers? What do you think you know about careers, but you’re not 100% sure? Now write three questions you still have about careers.

DAILY CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES:

Monday, Sept. 7: No School, Labor Day

Tuesday, Sept. 8: Today we turned in our spiral notebooks (notes) for a “quiz” grade. Your teacher will be checking to see if you’ve been doing your reading assignments. We also completed a Wikipedia handout on “Trail of Tears” and/or a website handout on specific research topics, assigned by the teacher. Extra copies of these assignment sheets are found in the make-up work center.

Wednesday, Sept. 9 – Thursday, Sept. 10: Students were given 90 minutes to take the District Writing Assessment test. If you were absent for this important test, you may be asked to take the test next week, during regular class time.
