stars and stripes and barsDAILY JOURNAL ASSIGNMENTS:  This week there will be no journals, to allow more time for our term papers. Also, there will be no vocabulary collected this week, for the same reason.

Monday, Nov. 16: Today our teacher handed out our term paper assignments. If you were gone for this first day of term papers, be aware that this is being treated as a sort of mid-term test. No cell phones will be allowed, and you will not be allowed to take your term paper home. The assignment sheet will have due dates on it. Please make arrangements to stay after school or come in on Friday if you can’t be here each day this week to work on your term paper.

Tuesday, Nov. 17 through Wednesday, Nov. 18: We worked on our term papers each day this week. If you need an extra day to do your term paper, plan to come in for Friday school from 8:00 to 10:00 AM.

Thursday, Nov. 19: At the end of the hour today, we turned in the following parts of our term papers:

  • Stapled to top: first draft
  • Stapled next: outline
  • Stapled to the bottom: term paper topic page

Please get your term paper turned in right away to prevent the loss of points for late work.
